'Calm Shade', a project worked on to develop an understanding of the requirement of "Techno Aesthetic Details". The brief of this project was to integrate a canopy onto a folding chair.
Having figured out how the canopy will rest on the chair, the next step was to come up with a canopy design which will not only work as a shade in the summer sun, but also one that made the chair look light and appealing. After various concepts came the final blob form with the circular cut out.
The dimensions mentioned here may not be accurate as a prototype has not been made, yet.
And then I came to giving it colour, I decided to go with a variety of colour options. One person will like one of the colour shades and not all will like the few options available.
