Briefing: This time the information given was to achieve the 3D modeling of a character from literature classic J.R.R. Tolkien “Lord of the Rings”. The limitations related to the project were that design and look of the built character must follow the description given by Tolkien in his novels and not the physical aspect of the character in the Peter Jackson’s films. Character given was Galadriel, mystic elf.

Solution: By the use of ZBrush 3D modeler I was able to recreate Galadriel following the descriptions of Tolkien, allowing her to have a powerful presence due to her might but a candour, sweet and innocent look. One of my most direct references to recreate Galadriel was Daenerys Targaryen, the character from HBO tv series “Game of Thrones”. Her blond brushed hair and her pure look hided an inmense capacity and a mercyless strength.
