These are two typefaces I made during my Typography II class. The first one, Boulivard is a simple san-serif with tall skinny letterforms. The idea for this was to base the typeface on a place that I either want to visit or are interested in. I picked California because I always wanted to visit and I hope to one day soon. The way it relates to California is the way I structured the letterforms. I made them tall and skinny to create the idea of tall skinny palm trees and all the tall buildings that are in California.  The second typeface, Trioni is a fun experimental typeface that went through much experimentation of color and formation. I started with the typeface being three colors so that had the influence on the name Trioni. I then felt that it had a flat, unattractive look to it so I decided to play with color. Each letter is a different color but they still have the consistent three color profile for each one. Lastly I took my typeface Trioni and made a short gif of it in Photoshop. I feel as though seeing it in motion gives it an even more dynamic look. For both of these projects I used Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Font Struct, and good old pen and paper .
