Expressive Forms
Approach
Mutation: When I think of the word "mutation", I think of biology, science, DNA, and transformation. I looked at references from biological specimen and anomalies that are considered freaky and irregular. For the text, I wanted it to be loose and have a winding baseline.

Misrepresentation: For "misrepresentation" I wanted to personify my designs by exaggerating human features. To me, this word means to make false accusations to someone and have them be portrayed in a way they are not. My designs included stretched, scratched, and scribbled up faces. For the text, I emphasized the word represent because it misinterprets the actual word itself and I find accurate representation to be important.

Transmission: For "transmission", I think of sound/signal waves, vibrations, technology, or even straight geometrical lines. I wanted the images to be more fluid, show a lot of movement, and to go from point A to point B.

First Form Finish
Form Final
Process: First, I changed my designs to vector and cleaned up my lines. After receiving feedback, I had to make me designs more cohesive with one another. Therefore, I put more space in between the lines, made lines more wavy, put in accents of black, and places a thick line within each composition.
Text Final
Process: After feedback, I picked designs I believe would work best with my form designs. I also made sure some of the names where on the same baseline as the other text, I changed the quotation marks, and also combined my two transmission designs together.
