TEARS OF INNOCENCE
TEARS OF INNOCENCE:
When innocence meets terror, even tears won't help.
In these difficult times for muslims all around the world, it is so hard to keep track of everything. The Hijab bans are rising in France, Belgium, India, Quabec, and many more are starting to follow the trend of discrimination. Afghanistan is under serious issues including starvation, while the US decided to STEAL FUNDS to pay for victims of 9/11, which had NOTHING TO DO with Afghanistan. Stolen in broad daylight, and what are they left with? Who can say anything? Who can do anything?
Tears are the only answer I have to these questions. Imagine how life is for these children, their fathers and mothers, their friends and family. The imagination itself cuts deeper than any knife could.
All of these thoughts made me create this piece. This is my imagination speaking through art; how their eyes must feel when a tear rolls down.
