Singapore Polytechnic’s SunSPEC 5 taking part in World Solar Challenge 2017

SunSPEC 5! A Cruiser Class Solar Car was designed and built by 35 students. The car top speed at 100km/h, the car designed to have a power pack about 14.5kWh with 24% efficiency solar cells covering 5m2.

The car have travelled 3021 km from Darwin to Adelaide in racing through the outback with one driver and one passenger. Racer start from 8am till 5pm daily, camp out to stop for the day.
