Typography HND Year 2

During my time at North East Scotland College we were tasked with creating a single and a double page spread for a type face of our choosing. I decided to do my double page spread on the Baskerville typeface and my single page spread on the typeface Futura.

These typographic pages celebrate some of the most popular typefaces today and their designers. Designed in a unique layout throughout to represent its origins, these posters provide the reader with information on the famous typefaces.
Mock Up for a double page spread based on typography. Baskerville is a serif typeface designed in the 1750s by John Baskerville in Birmingham, England, and cut into metal by punchcutter John Handy.

Mock Up for a single page spread based on typography. Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Paul Renner and released in 1927. It was designed as a contribution on the New Frankfurt-project.
