Low-rise Apartment Building
I created study project to architectural design subject. It was made on two pieces of paper 60x80cm.
Some features borrowed from Peter Eisenman`s deconstructivist style (namely the "House VI")
Concept:
The house was commissioned by a family of two - the director of the plant and his wife. The area is narrow and long, the shape of an irregular quadrangle, and has a slight slope, as it is located near Sarzhin Yar (Kharkiv). Therefore, it was decided to design a small garden of deciduous and coniferous trees, which will be visible from the windows on the ground floor and the terrace on the second.
The artistic solution of the house is based on the architectural style of modernism.
Based on their own needs, the owner must have a personal office, as well as a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor there is a kitchen-dining room, a guest bathroom, a hall, a wardrobe and such utility rooms as a laundry and a pantry. The living room has access to the backyard with a garden. On the second floor there are two guest bedrooms and a bathroom, and a corridor that stretches across the entire floor leads to the terrace.
