In this project, I was asked to design a surface illustration for school supplies, specifically a one inch three-ring binder. My subject of choice was science and biology. I wanted to stray away from the cliché green associated with the subject, so I went with very bright (almost neon) colors. I wanted to merge some jellyfish with amoeba due to their jelly and gooey nature to create an interesting effect.
