Next up in the SJ, the Notre Dame Hounds! Originally, I wasn’t sure what to do with the Hounds rebrand as their look is a very classic one in Saskatchewan. However, I also thought the Hounds and Weyburn Red Wings looked too similar. So I decided to make a pretty drastic change to the Hounds, updating their logo slightly and then adding (a lot of) black to their uniforms. I think it’s a slick change and something that could set them apart from the minor Prep teams that share their identity in Wilcox.
