The Seven Heavenly Virtues

The Seven Heavenly Virtues
Using the "Seven Heavenly Virtues" from the poet Aurelius Clemens Prudentius, we represented each through several forms of media. We made this into a newspaper-style booklet and printed it out. I chose to tell the narrative of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the sequence of each virtue. This message is the most important aspect of my life, as it tells the way of salvation from sin through Jesus's death on a cross. This project was a great challenge to put together. Finding just the right way to clearly portray the Gospel message through these virtues was tough, but well-worthwhile.
This is the front cover of my newspaper-style booklet. The sun metaphorically represents the light of God.
Chastity/Purity: The man is reaching for purity (the white flowers), but cannot reach it because he is a sinful being.
Charity: The hand is giving the girl a gift. once again, the hand is representing God, which is why the identity remains unseen.
Humility: The image above represents Christ's ultimate humility of his death on a cross. The man is much smaller in comparison to emphasize the importance of his sacrifice.
Thank you!
