The Campfire Stool is ten layers of MDF wood, cut from a CNC machine, held together with threaded rod and spacers. This project introduced the process of creating a Fusion360 model, turning it into a Gcode for a CNC router to follow. I first designed the chair in Fusion360, post-processed it, then used a CNC crawl bot to cut out each layer. Finally, I applied 2-3 layers of primer and paint, giving it an attractive grey color.
