Art 235 | Project 01 | 6 Creative Strategies
The purpose of this project is to visually represent a simple object through the lens of each of the 6 Creative Strategies. They strategies are: Combination, Isolation, Metaphor or Simile, Change of Context or Environment, Physical Shape Similarity, and Material Change, Swap, or Focus.
This was a very helpful exercise to practice brainstorming, thinking creatively, and working through the design process to create and finalize 6 individual concepts in a beautiful way. I learned a lot about exhausting all ideas through the research/brainstorming phase, and I learned a great deal about how to work with images in Photoshop and Illustrator. I learned even more about design principles through this study of these creative strategies.
