Life is a mystery box - Oil on canvas - 40 x 50 cm
In this self-portrait, I have tried to anonymize any individual life. We keep on exploring the “completely unknown Box” of our life. This mystery box is full of surprises, gains & losses. The happy moments seem very pleasant, like a gentle breeze taking these clouds up in the sky with the tags of our happy memories. On the other hand, the losses become so heavy and stay somewhere in the bottom of our heart forever. How dear the losses are, we learn to come out of these burdens & failures, and how distant these good memories are, they always pave a way as a guiding star to steer our life through these odds.

Timeless Memories - Oil on canvas - 40 x 50 cm
A Portrait is not only a way to get the likeness of the person’s identity but also going deeper into their thoughts, capturing the essence of them, how they feel and perceive the world around them. That is what I found during the sessions with Natalya, how deeply she has cherished her memories, her loved ones and love around her. While sharing those fragile moments reflects her caring & loving persona. A photograph is a timeless memory if it is 30 years old it seizes the moment forever and that is what I have tried to capture here a timeless portrait of ‘Natascha’.
