WEEK 9 - Task Three & Task Four
NET-A-PORTER MAGAZINE SPREAD RE-DESIGN
REDESIGN
I think that my re-design is much clearer and focusses more on hierarchy and order of reading. The original design seemed very "all over the place" in my opinion, and I was jumping between sections without reading them. I think that my re-design uses space effectively and the alignment of each body paragraphs allows for ease of reading. The use of a spread, rather than a single page, means that the content isn't 'squished' and makes it a lot easier to read. I think this technique also allows for a greater focus on typography and font pairings (serifs with sans-serifs paired together for quotes and credits, etc).
