In this project, I pushed the assignment of making an object out of 200 wooden sticks. I extended the idea of a binding material by using rope as part of the object itself.

The composition of sticks and rope forms an abstract concept for a light object. The many layers create an interesting play of shadows and patterns. I can imagine this in a grand hall during a special night, or in a modern house, giving the homeowners a sense of calm in their hectic lives.
