The Rapist is a 2021 Indian Hindi drama film written and directed by Aparna Sen. A Quest Films Pvt. Ltd. production, produced under the banner of Applause Entertainment, stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Arjun Rampal and Tanmay Dhanania. 

As one of my first experiences of styling for a full-fledged film, I greatly prize this opportunity. I learnt about drawing from the director’s vision and building on that. We created PPTs and lookbooks for all of the characters, detailed with specificities like jewellery or styling techniques that would help the audience understand the characters better. Continuity was of prime importance. The movie was well received and its styling appreciated. My learnings helped me gain a better understanding of costume designing and styling in the film industry.
