Come and enjoy our Caribbean Island workshop to learn how to transform your classroom into the paradise of a Caribbean island using traditional instruments, music, rhythms, dances and finish with a Carnival-style procession, all focusing on the traditional BOMBA OR PLENA music from Puerto Rico and its history.
Overview: Caribbean Island is a program in which we engage school teachers, children, youths, and parents in Caribbean traditions. We teach the different forms of rhythms hailing from the Caribbean Sea using the traditional instruments while incorporating other traditions, like dance, mask making, costume showcasing, and poem reciting.

Cuando no hay suficientes barriles se busca la solución. Es cuestión de avivar la CREATIVIDAD, trayendo a colación el interés al conocimiento, desarrollar destreza, y demandar al gobierno a que cumpla con la educación de nuestros niños supliéndoles sus necesidades para su desarrollo cognitivo.
BENEFICIOS:
Jóvenes con conocimiento en nuestra historia, historiadores, músicos, percusionistas, en este caso en particular, artesanos para el desarrollo de la confesión de Barriles. Desarrollando destrezas para una nueva generación de maestros artesanales/Artistas, y sobre todo ciudadanos que aportaran a la ecónomia, en lo social y en la cultura.
Solución: Una sociedad de empresarios en el Arte con una clientela establecida.
