Museums and memorials have great influence over the way we remember and reflect upon war. Since its end in 1945, World War II has been glorified, sterilized, personified and symbolized by governments and institutions worldwide. This infographic categorizes and plots the founding dates of museums of war on a radial timeline, starting in the center of the graphic with WWII.
