This office space is for Plarium, a company that develops mobile, browser and social games. The office is located on the 2nd floor of a business center in Kharkiv, it appeared as a result of the company's expansion. The main requirements for the project were flexibility, high-tech solutions, implementation of "smart home" technologies to control ventilation, air conditioning and lighting systems. Also, due to the coronavirus pandemic and related challenges, there was a need for a new space that could correspond to modern work processes and usage scenarios.

functional program
The new office is designed for 60 employees and has a developed infrastructure. Functional zoning includes open-plan workspace, reception and waiting areas, 3 executives offices for heads of departments, 1 large meeting room, 6 meeting rooms for 2-5 people, a kitchen, a lecture hall with a coffee point, a security room, a wardrobe, restrooms and utility closets.

concept
The overall visual concept of the project is a combination of truth-to-materials such as stainless steel, concrete with an expressive electric blue color. It was important for us to emphasize the essence and values ​​of the company with the help of design. Stainless steel accentuates innovation, technology and cosmicity, blue color means courage and brightness.

The vestibule with a reception. The area of ​​elevator halls is made in a combination of concrete and stainless steel, the elevator hall has a huge mirror for selfies, and rgb lighting will create a new atmosphere for photos every time.
The reception area consists of a stainless steel desk and a rear mesh metal panel, fitted with a LED screen.

Also there is a kitchen nearby with multiform types of seats for different groups of people. The kitchen has two entrances for convenience. In the kitchen, plywood is also added to stainless steel, concrete and blue color to create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

There is a big comfortable meeting room for official negotiations behind the reception area.

The general spatial planning is made with smooth lines, meeting rooms and offices are inserted into the common space of the open space. This functional scheme has allowed us to abandon standard corridors.

Working places are slightly removed from panoramic windows. Lounge and relaxation areas are organized along the windows. There are acoustic panels over all working places and in the meeting rooms for creating a more comfortable acoustic environment. Shades of blue and ocher are used for lounge areas. Also there are a lot of plants in the office. They separate working spaces. It is a natural element in the technological environment.

The meeting rooms are differently furnished and equipped with everything necessary for zoom meetings. The office also has enough lounge areas and a variety of one-to-one niches.

We have provided a large number of meeting rooms, because with a hybrid (or blended) work model, a part of the team can work remotely, and the rest is in the office, so the number of calls has increased significantly.

A training room is polyfunctional. It is used both for internal events of the company and for internships of future employees. This room has a separate entrance for students, a coffee point, a wardrobe, WC. It can function separately without the need for access to the main office. The lecture hall is specially located in the darkest area of the floor which is without windows, as most events take place with the involvement of projectors.

The wardrobe is equipped with a bench with drawers, shelves for shoes, and an open system for clothes. The irregularly shaped mirror also emphasizes the overall concept of the office and invites you to take a photo.

Restrooms are made of microcement. A ceiling and one of the walls are made from stainless steel  and with a radius joint element. Colored faucets and door handles are bright additions to the space.

Due to the russian military invasion in Ukraine the construction process has been stopped, but we belive in our victory and the project will be realized.
