Commissioned by The Lemon Tree & Co., a french cabaret style fine dining and nightlife venue, to design a cohesive 54 piece collection for their entertainment crew during the summer season.
The brief: to design garments using African inspired prints, colorful, breathable fabrics in various textures and avant-garde silhouettes and accessories suited to dance professionals and performers. The theme for the collection allowed for a futuristic interpretation of the garments thereby setting the performer's attire aside from the over-all aesthetic of the venue and guests during operation. In addition, the use of unconventional materials, such as plastic tarp, made for interesting top layer belts and harnesses that are functional in maintenance and interchangeable with the rest of the collection.
