The project has been created as a part of a cycle related to my made-up comic story and its' main character with her natural, primal relationship with nature. I've decided to express the moment of disconnection. The moment of a story shows an act of determined sacrifice in which the woman, treated by the civilisation as a primitive creature with unexplained source of vitality takes the conscious decision to disconnect herself from nature. In this moment she is like an abandoned child. The clay has been dug out in my parent's land and I have created this little with the intention to focus on the process and let the material work - also as the form is obviously too thick. The sculpture will be burned out in the ground with natural method and may fall apart under embers. Anyway, the result will be what I was aiming for.
