The objective of this project is to use simple design and materials to create furniture and it has to be created by hand with a simple production. It is able to support significant weight up to 10kg on top of the coffee table. The notches in the middle provide surfaces for gluing and fixture.
Simple making process
Simple paper fan folded by hand to form a strong and supportive structure and then it is glued to machine cut table top and base made of natural softwood.
Recycle and reusable
The table is an example to illustrate an eco-friendly design, which is easy to separate the wood and paper parts for reuse(wood) and recycle(paper) at the end of the product life.
