The Peking Hotel
 
A classic example of the greatness of the Stalinist Empire.
 
The Peking Hotel is an architectural monument designed by the famous architect Dmitry Chechulin in the Stalinist style in 1949-1955.
This high-rise building with multi-figure bas-reliefs above the entrance is decorated with a tower with a clock and a spire.
The hotel was designed to symbolize the friendship between the Soviet Union and China.
 
Currently, the Peking hotel and office complex includes more than 142 rooms of various categories, a conference room, and the building itself is recognized as a historical architectural monument of Stalinist classicism
