This is a gift booklet that is designed to be saddle stitched. The fonts used are Baskerville MT Pro and Avenir Next LT Pro. To establish hierarchy, subheadings are large and in sans serif and body text is small in serif. 

Texture is created by using different colors and levels of transparency. The theme of the talk is about the broken becoming healed. So to nod at that topic, the title and pull quotes have lines going through them "breaking" them apart.

The theme of the talk is also kind of a heavy topic, so I wanted to include colors that feel sentimental and comforting. By staying away from bright colors I think I achieved the right tone that is appropriate to give to the intended recipient.

The design principles I chose to focus on are:

• Visual Hierarchy
