Inspired by Nike's most iconic sneakers, Aces & Laces is a deck of playing cards that pays homage to streetwear's most recognizable silhouettes. A personal project and a shoutout to sneakerheads worldwide.
Instead of the more traditional tuck boxes normally used for playing card packaging, this flip box was designed to resemble Nike's signature orange shoeboxes.
Each suit pays tribute to a staple Nike shoe:
Air Jordans for the Spades, Air Maxes for the Hearts, Air Forces for the Clubs, and Huaraches for the Diamonds.
For their unique looks (and reputations), all-black Air Force Ones and the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Retro Highs were chosen for the Jokers.
