Paradox was a collaborative exhibition on display at MICA in December 2013. As a part of the exhibition design team, I helped plan the overall aesthetic and layout of the show. Prompted by the title, my team decided to arrange the work in floor/ceiling interactions to emphasize opposites, with transparent plexiglass used to contrast the heaviness of the space.

 

My individual project, Cultural Network, embraces paradox by reimagining a traditional advertising pole through the banally peculiar language of Facebook events.
