The "Koliba"
For this architecture, I found inspiration in the elements of Dinaric vernacular architecture, where a pyramidal roof shape acts as the initial and final phase of the process. Standing in front of it, the observer can feel the perfect synchrony of the ethnic and contemporary architectural elements that stands as an envelope for the uncomplicated functional organization - living space, kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping; a perfect shelter for a family of up to five users. On the four foundation blocks, the structure can be prefabricated and moved amongst the different landscapes but always keeping the same regional context and the spirit of the place. All this with different possibilities for the facade-roof materialization.
