PROJECT AIM :
✣ Reviving the heritage and culture of Syria.
✣ Re-tourism in the country as it was in the past.
✣ Restoring Arab unity among countries to increase its role in the development of the affected countries.
✣ Increasing the awareness of the population and discovering the culture of a country rich in civilizations.
✣ Preserve the country's heritage before it disappears.
✣ Effective using, redevelopment, rehabilitation, and employment of unoccupied areas.
This concept:
extends beyond the boundaries of the site, as the main building was built through the line of sight from the site of the Roman theater with a central axis that came from the center of the theater to create a cultural center for the four different civilizations, which is expressed by a beam that came from the monumental buildings as if it was a light for all civilization. This axis helped me create the idea of the golden ratio found in all architectural elements of the different eras. The progressive arrangement of individual galleries along the 'inner street height' is the core concept of the design, with the museum's urban fabric acting as a seamless continuity of the existing city structure.
