Tualatin Valley Alpaca Ranch Map
1,000 printed in May 2022
The new CEO of the visitor association wanted to feature warm-and-fuzzy feel-good attractions that differentiated the region in terms of tourist destinations. As Oregon’s Tualatin Valley is home to several alpaca farms, the sheer number of requests from visitors wanting info about alpaca farms alpacas demonstrated that they are a solid tourist draw for the area. Led design of a rack card featuring alpaca-related activities and destinations. The guide features a map with 4 alpaca farms which people can visit for hands-on fun and crafts. The back page gives a brief introduction of alpaca country and a list of the farms with contact information to plan a trip. Because of the popularity of alpaca farms and their activities, visitor demand for this map has made it a frequently-requested brochure.

20,000 printed in November 2022
The second-most requested item from visitors, locals and, local hotels, Tualatin Valley Tourism map was designed to pinpoint all available local activities. I revamped this map to provide better directions, improved attraction descriptions, and included new ones being added. I designed the map so it would fit into a rack card stand when folded, but also be available in a pad which has 50 maps (not folded) that can be torn off. The tear sheet version is popular with the hotels and wineries to provide more precise directions to visitors and to show proximity to Portland.

Timbers Army - North End Noise Zine Issue
24 pages - 5,000 printed in 2019
I spring-boarded my fan status of the Portland Timbers MLS club and involvement in the Timbers Army to design a coloring page of the Portland Timbers mascot (Timber Joey) for Issue Number 2. I worked in collaboration with other volunteer writers and artists that are supporters of Booked! A 107ist Library. For each purchase of this magazine, $1 is donated to the Gisele Currier Scholarship Fund.
Oregon’s Washington County Nature Passport
44 pages - 10,000 printed in June 2016
After our marketing team identified that nature tourism is an important market segment for county, based on all natural areas that were prime tourist attractions, I designed a nature passport featuring the parks and wetlands in Washington County / Tualatin Valley. This pocket-sized passport featured a description, amenities, trivia, and initially, a passport stamp from the participating parks. Unfortunately, as many parks were not staffed, I created a fix that solved the stamp problem by creating a blank page for making a tree bark or leaf rubbing instead. This required working closely with our printer to research the right paper to be used in the brochure interior. The brochure has been a hit, and has gone through multiple reprints to keep up with demand as visitors used the guide to explore the parks listed.
Blue Man Group Press Kit
I designed first-ever professional press kit for the marketing department in response to the rising status and popularity of this global franchise. The kit included press clippings and a Blue Man Group one-sheet biography. Integrating unusual and colorful images, I designed the folder to hold a business card and DVD while making it a more compelling and on-brand piece. Additionally, I concepted the custom pockets to capture the aquatic flow of the paint, which has attracted praise from the marketing department as well as media representatives.
