The intended audience for this image is my fellow colleagues on this course. I want to demonstrate how taking an image from underneath the vegetation can show us a very different world. Hopefully encouraging others to explore and be creative rather than accepting what the eyes sees from above.

The image shared was taken at the Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh on a damp but bright day. The approach was intended to bring out the vibrancy of the setting and highlight how something as small as a snail can live comfortably balanced on a fine line, while sheltering from the elements. ISO was increased to 2500 to maximise light but still retain a natural perspective.
