This is my another assignment on the theme Hybrid creature. Our assignment criteria is to combine different animal according to our liking but without drawing it over stylize. Hence, i decided to drift towards a more realistic kind in my final painting. Hope you all enjoy the process. Thank you :D
Description of my hybrid creature: This creature is a mixture of elephant, kangaroo and fox in term of the body structure. I chose hybrid creature with the 3 animals mentioned above as the main combination. This creature was once an animal that live in the Sahara dessert. Living in dessert was a blessing to the creature until the day where snowstorm struck for the first time in all centuries. Since then, the place was as cold as Alaska and warm light of the sun could only be seen for a short period of time. In trying to adapt to the cold environment, the creature started growing out furs. (try not to laugh haha because i think its funny while writing the description for the submission)
