This voting poster is a client project for the League of Women Voters of Wheaton, a non-partisan group whose goal is to carry out programs to educate voters and encourage participation in elections. My team’s client requested a poster to hang in colleges, high schools, and local shops in hopes to increase voter turn-out, especially among young adults who might have some election fright. I chose a clean, geometric-based design as a means of catering organization of information to people in my age group.
Sketch for the poster design- I wanted to make a reference to the Stars and Stripes of the American flag since that was the respectful color palette my team was working with. I also wanted to find a way to bring a greater emphasis to the slogan, suggesting some kind of speech bubble to frame "Matters".
