Vigor Sports & Training Studio

Vigor Sports & Training started as a family-sized fitness centre providing typical fitness experience. As their business grew, they would like elevate their brand to move away from just your “local gym”.

Starting from their relocation to Central, the heart of the business in Hong Kong, the user demographic has totally changed and they would like to reposition themselves as a combination of a wellness + fitness centre.

We are commissioned to revisit the complete brand system from brand strategy, brand design and brand experience.

To capture the brand’s philosophy of “Movement is medicine”, we have highlighted the word “go” in our logotype to give a sense of movement. The serif type gives it a clean and modern look which elevate the brand from the traditional masculine fitness industry.

Our brand’s colour palette is inspired by the earthy tone from the nature.
The green and pink highlights added a certain extent of vibrancy.

The brand’s typography system is very clean and minimal. We’ve added a handwritten typeface for highlighted information to add warmth and friendliness to our communication.

There are a series of graphic device/motifs designed to use in different environments.

The subtle floral halftone pattern is used mostly as backgrounds for our different written applications.

Inspired by the art of balancing stones, a series of abstract shapes with gym equipments such as dumbbells and kettle bells are created to express the importance of staying balance with our mind and body.

Customised iconography are used in the new signage and way finding system.

Badges with motivative slogan are used as graphic motifs to add uniqueness to the visual communication.

A series of Instagram templates are designed to cater different purpose of the communication, for example: Promotions, Nutrition Facts, Tutorials and Motivation quotes.

An instagram filter has been created for social engagement.
