SOLO
With the industry moving toward an EV future, it is essential to create vehicles with driver enjoyment at their core while adopting sustainable technology. Single-seat vehicles have a lengthy heritage that harkens back to the early period of racing, where an individual was at the helm in total control.
Polestar SOLO is built to give the driver that experience, whilst adopting the purity of the polestar brand and structural battery technology at its core. The structural battery platform creates an active diffuser allowing air to flow efficiently. SOLO takes inspiration from the purity of polestar’s styling to create a sculptural piece that symbolizes the symbiotic relationship between man and machine that is core to this concept.
POD
Drivers Pod - Designed to give the driver a perfect view out. Inspired by Polestars pure design, the space wraps around the driver to encapsulate and give a sense of security.
MONOLITH
Roll Protection - Emergency pop up roll protection monoliths, residing either side of the drivers head. As well as keeping the drivers safety as a key concern the MONOLITHS aid in the pursuit of an uncluttered pure form.
PURE
Exterior Design - The driver sits centrally, for perfect balance, feel and control while driving. SOLO’s form captures the Essence of the Polestar brand while pursuing a pure Aesthetic that reflects the technology beneath.
