Pitchfork is an online music platform that was launched in 1995 as an independent music blog. The website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music, today Pitchfork covers so much more. Publishing daily reviews, features, and interviews, as well as real-time music news coverage, Pitchfork has developed one of the web’s most devoted and loyal followings, in the process spawning Chicago’s annual Pitchfork Music Festival and the online music video channel Pitchfork.tv.
The concept was to simply - take Pitchfork offline. Investigating a way to produce hard copies of its content, bring a new perspective to its media.
