Filters in Photoshop

This exercise explores the Filter menu, including the Filter Gallery. It also demonstrates how "selected pixels" can be manipulated within one image.

Key Objectives and Photoshop Features

Create a new canvas in Photoshop

Turn "Rulers" on

Acquire images free of copyright restriction

Add image to the new canvas as "pixels" 

Scale images in proportion

Create a grid of ruler guides, every 2 inches 

Create a label 

Duplicate the label using option + drag or copy/paste

Use your "rectangle marquee tool" 

Apply a filter

Save in appropriate file format and use the assignment file name structure

Write a valid copyright statement

Submit files to Canvas
