This is my first taste of spearheading an entire production. I did the bulk of the entire production as a means of pushing all my abilities to their limit. Firstly, Mallory Fryer and I co-wrote the script and subsequently cut out over six pages of material trying to keep the essence of the story.
I created overheads, and storyboards using free rigged models. I recreated our set, set up lighting, and cameras all in Cinema 4D.This made production a breeze getting all shots in in less than 24 hours.
Unfortunately, one of our talent could not make it and I (a very bad actor) had to step in and fill his role. I left the storyboard as a guide to our camera operator Yancey Chan who did a great job of getting the right angles and exposure.
Once production wrapped up, I synced audio in Pro Tools, then color graded all clips in DaVinci Resolve. I had taken two audio editing courses and completed 80% of audio editing for this film leaving the other 20% to Yancey and Mallory whom I quickly showed the basics of Pro Tools.
Once we had screen and audio lock, I quickly put together a Motion Graphic introduction using After Effects and a bit of Photoshop to add  more production value to our first film.
I had a great, although overwhelming, experience trying to complete all parts of production for Done Barr. Looking back I am happy at how everything turned out, although I would have wanted a clearer story, and not have me as an actor since the batman voices, which had us laughing throughout the shoot, takes away from the seriousness of our film.
