A cover for Vanity Fair's On Time 'Precision' Issue, alongside an Opener and a series of five spreads for their Watch Report. Owen was tasked with creating a series of sets to house a selection of unique watches inspired by blown up watch parts and tools, such as the Hairspring, Bridge Plate and Wheels & Pinions. With excellent art direction by Scott Moore, Owen designed and handcrafted the sets on which the watches could sit, using multiple layers to add an interesting visual depth.
The project then involved teaming up with the incredible photographer Aaron Tilley to capture the images, even using some real lasers to push the theme of Precision.
