I wish to express a subject in this work, concerning the various injuries to which children are subjected in their development. The news of child abuse is always sad, but countless children around the world still suffer in silence. These wounds are like shadows that accompany children as they grow up, growing up in a depressing mental environment, sinking into a pool surrounded by unseen pressures.
In this work, ripples in the water represent the various attacks, abuses, and violations that children experience, and they are even used as objects for emotional outbursts. The scattered toys represent the loneliness and childishness of the children. The child in the painting did not sink completely into the water, at least his head was still breathing. This detail represents the hope that still exists or the last hope, so to speak.
The painting is brightly colored, using happy colors to portray a sad story. I wish people would pay more attention to the state and situation of children's lives, to those who have been hurt and need help.
