This is a series that explores how I form and process images in my head after perceiving them with my eyes. Colors and compositions are dramatized because I believe that observational drawings should not be photorealistic. Instead, they should capture the presence of the scenes. My method for observational drawings is by picking up some colors from the realistic scene and adding in brighter contrasting colors to make the overall palette more exciting.
