This is a logo exploration for an NGO that protects traditional specialties of the Transylvanian region of Romania. 

The logo helps identify the products that originated in Transylvania and are verified and approved by the NGO as traditional products of the region. 

The shield was the preferred symbol stated in the Brief. 

Other symbols suggesting the idea of a protected area and geographical region were used, such as keys, elements from the coat of arms, a fortified church, pine woods, mountains, monks, archaic lettering, or Vlad Dracula.
