Research with practical application in VFX
The students were challenged by the Visual and Special Effects teacher to remake four scenes containing VFX.
We were free to choose four shots from a list provided by the teacher and as a group we choose scenes from the following videos:
Ariana Grande – breathin
Jain – Come
Justice – D.A.N.C.E.
PZ “Caga Nela”
After dividing work between the three members of the team, I was in charge of filming the clips for three of the scenes and doing the VFX in one of them.
I choose to remake the clips from "breathin", "Come" and "D.A.N.C.E.". Below are the side by side comparisons.
To recreate the VFX in the "breathin" video I used several royalty free videos of clouds to make the background and the cloud in front of the models face.
