The students were challenged by the Visual and Special Effects teacher to design and produce two versions of the Master's logo that could be used at the begin/end of other projects.

    Since the Master's is in game development I decided to draw inspiration from older, pixel-art games and CRT TVs. I used an online image to ASCII converter to transform the Master's logo into text and animated it in After Effects.

    Then I created a white square and animated it to imitate an old TV turning off, below is the inspiration for that effect.
