NUOVE STRADE PER L'INCLUSIONE
My assumptions, before undertaking the study, are to go in search of the much-talked-about word "inclusion". However, without trying to confine it only to the enclosure of disabilities, my intention is to study needs, the solutions to which can also be extended to other people, regardless of context.
Because it is through sharing that knowledge is generated, and it is only through sharing that it is possible to eliminate the prejudices that grip our world. Because often, when we speak of disability, its assonance to a limitation, an impossibility or a disadvantage is clear. It seems that the idea of the world we design often lacks space or creativity to adopt intelligent solutions to include people and their diversity.
However, what does it mean to design inclusively and how can we all benefit? What are the rules that a designer must take into account in order not to exclude? Also, a central question of my project: what if we saw the limitations given by inclusive design, not as burdens, but as motivators to be more creative?
