In the 14th century to mid 20th century, it was common for wealthy book lovers who maintained personal libraries to commission personalized bookplates for the inside cover to show the name of the book's owner. Bookplates are works of art that reflect the personal style, hobbies, and/or philosophy of the owner. I designed this bookplate for my sister who loves her cat, books, and traveling.
This is the design that I had made digitally first. It was flipped so when I print it, it prints correctly.
