Project Overview
This project was a challenge, I was tasked with creating hard and soft covers for a classical piece of literature of my choice. I chose the story "The Great Gatsby" because of it's vast array of motifs which I could incorporate into my book covers. I took the Chinese symbol FU, which means wealth and created a pattern to showcase the main theme throughout the book, using gold and green colors as gold means wealth and green pay's homage to the 'green light' in the story.
