This design is of a pair of 17th century stays framed by a heart. The edges feature a lacy trim. This was a lot of fun to design and sew. I tried to make this as detailed as possible. There are boning channels, piping details and even real eyelets. The eyelets can be laced up, just like real stays. The fabric is reused. Some stays from the V & A collection were used as reference.
