Bairagi Thakurmar'r Jhuli
Bairagis are known for their ascetic lifestyle and their devotion to the practice of yoga and meditation. They are also known for their strict adherence to the principles of non-attachment and renunciation. Bairagis can be found throughout Eastern India, particularly in the states of West Bengal and Odisha. It is a Hindu religious order that originated in Eastern India. The order was founded by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a 16th century Bengali spiritual leader who is considered by his followers to be an avatar of Lord Krishna.
As a Bairagi, she committed to a life of non-attachment and renunciation. She has no possessions, no family, and no worldly desires. Her only goal is to achieve spiritual enlightenment and be one with the divine. She spends her days in prayer and meditation, and she is content with the simplicity of my existence.
Being a widow in the Bairagi community is not uncommon. After her husband passed away many years ago, She decided to fully devote herself to the Bairagi way of life. As a widow, she is respected and revered within the community, and she often sought out spiritual guidance.
Despite the challenges that come with being a Bairagi, I would not trade my life for anything. The simplicity and purity of this way of life bring me great joy, and I feel a deep sense of purpose in my devotion to the divine. I have experienced a unique and fulfilling journey. Through my dedication to meditation, I have found inner peace and contentment that I believe is unmatched by any worldly possession or desire. I am grateful for the teachings of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and for the Bairagi community that has provided me with a home and a sense of purpose, She said.
