Hija del Océano is a fantasy portrait painted digitally, using Adobe Photoshop.
While practicing my digital painting skills, I decided to re-use an old character design that was lying around sketchbooks. My main inspirations were the ocean, coral reefs, pearls, and other sea and fantasy elements. I also wanted to add in the shiny Kelp veil as a form of recalling the feeling of a sacred creature or deity. A rare sight on an uneventful summer evening.
